Warner Classics presents the complete concertos of Alexander Glazunov, conducted by Glazunov champion and specialist José Serebrier and performed by the Russian National Orchestra and a host of talented soloists, including Rachel Barton Pine, Alexander Romanovsky, Wen-Sinn Yang, Marc Chisson and Alexey Serov. Recorded in Moscow in April 2010, this 2-CD set features Glazunov’s Concertos for Violin, Saxophone, Cello, and Piano and are complemented with various short works with orchestral accompaniment.

GRAMMY-winner conductor and composer José Serebrier is one of most recorded classical artists in history. He has received thirty-two GRAMMY nominations in recent years. All his recent recordings have received multiple GRAMMY nominations, including the Warner Classics recording of Glazunov Symphony No.6. When José Serebrier was 21 years old, Leopold Stokowski hailed him as "the greatest master of orchestral balance. Serebrier has made international tours with the Juilliard Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Toulouse Chamber Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra of Spain and others. As a composer, José Serebrier has won most of the important awards in the United States.
